As part of the ongoing collaboration within the CEEPUS HUMANISTA network, a joint teaching activity was successfully held online on Saturday, May 23, 2026.
The activity featured an engaging guest lecture delivered by Benjamin Warren Doty from the Slovak University of Technology in Bratislava, Faculty of Electrical Engineering and Information Technology for students at the University of Belgrade, Faculty of Organizational Sciences attending the course English for Management 2.
The lecture, titled Managing Technology in Response to Climate Change: Balancing Innovation, Cost, Risk, Skepticism, and Emotion, addressed contemporary environmental challenges and explored the complex relationship between technological innovation and sustainable development.
The session was highly interactive and engaging, encouraging students to actively participate in discussions and collaborative problem-solving activities. Through case studies and practical tasks, students worked in English to propose realistic and sustainable solutions to environmental problems, while also developing their professional communication and critical thinking skills.
