The conference gathered researchers, teachers, and practitioners from across Europe and beyond to discuss current trends and challenges in Languages for Specific Purposes (LSP), with a particular focus on digital transformation, innovative teaching approaches, and artificial intelligence in education.
More information about the conference is available on the official website: SDUTSJ Conference 2026
Representatives of several HUMANISTA partner institutions presented their research during the conference:

Jelena Jerković (University of Novi Sad) and Bojana Komaromi presented Building innovative teaching skills: Insights from an online networked learning course.
Lena Tica (University of Kragujevac) and Jana Živanović presented "(Beyond) career goals: Motivational dimensions in learning English for specific purposes".
Jelena Anđelković and Marija Meršnik (University of Belgrade) presented Measuring and improving ESP test quality using Moodle statistics indicators.
In addition to the conference presentations and discussions, HUMANISTA members used this opportunity to strengthen cooperation within the network and discuss upcoming activities and future collaborations. Particular attention was dedicated to the preparation of the first HUM-STEM Summer School, which is planned to take place in July 2026 and represents an important new initiative within the HUMANISTA network.
The conference once again proved to be an excellent platform for exchanging ideas, fostering international cooperation, and promoting innovative approaches in LSP teaching and research.
